This year my birthday falls on a very important day. National Adoption Day. This is a day to reflect on how adoption has touched all of us in one way or another. For us adoption is how we were meant to build our family. Donnie and I were chosen for Nay and Mar. Their birth mothers picked us to love and care for their children. Now their birth mothers are just an extend part of our family. We have a very big family! The girls have so many people that love them, it's a wonderful feeling. So today think about your friends that are adopted, the birth parents that have placed their children, and the families that have opened their homes to a child in need. There are over 200 waiting children in Nebraska. Pray for them today.

I agree, adoption has touched my life so many times, it's such a wonderful thing, isn't it? Happy birthday as well! What a great way to celebrate.
It has touched my life & my family deeply. Without it we wouldn't know you or your wonderful family. Its something I am really thankful for.
I can't begin to imagine my life without your two girls. I am grateful for the love I am able to give them but I forget that it was because someone else loved them so much that I am even given the opportunity. We are truly blessed to have such beautiful girls to call our family.
