It's that time of year again!

No I'm not talking about Husker football... I'm talking about the NE State Fair!
There is nothing better than the smell of livestock and funnel cakes. Sunday I took Donnie and Ava to their first fair. The weather was good and number of items you could buy on a stick was amazing! I think they both had a good time?? Next time we might even go on a ride or two?

Vegas baby Vegas!

Donnie surprised me with a 4 day trip to Las Vegas this past week. I really needed to get away! Vegas is not what it used to be. I remember cheap drinks and cheap food! No more. Beer is at least 6 bucks a bottle and most menus range between $25-50 a plate. Oh well. We still had fun and did tons of walking. Oh and a stop into Tiffany's always makes everything better!

It's done?

Sort of. We can cook in it and that is all I care about at this point. It is so nice to have room to move around and a dishwasher! I hope to have a nice slideshow with all of the before and after photos in the coming weeks.
