Cow side note.
By the way when Ava gets the cow she will name her "Cowvin" I assume after the neighbor boy Calvin. She has really been thinking about this.

Happy Birthday? Maybe?
Ava’s fourth birthday is fast approaching. Several weeks ago I asked if there was anything special she wanted for her birthday. "A cow" she replied. "What?" I said. "A cow… you know MOOOOOO, a cow" Oh. "Where would you put a cow?" "In my room" of course. She has been adamant about the cow. Go-ahead call her ask her what she wants for her birthday. She will tell you. A cow. So since this is the first time she has ever really asked for something consistently I need to find a cow. She wasn’t specific on color or anything. I will however need to find 3-5 acres of land with a barn and pastureland. And we will need some alfalfa or hay or whatever they eat and probably a truck and trailer and who knows what else. If you know where I can get any of this stuff let me know. Thanks in advance!

The Circus!
We were lucky enough to receive free tickets to the Shrine Circus for Friday night. (Thank you Dustin and Sara!) Ava loved it. I bought her cotton candy and a light up toy it was all very exciting. Then it hit me.
This was not the Shrine Circus I grew up with...
Normally at this point I would complain about all of the stuff that was wrong, all of the things that were not how they were when I was little. But I’m not going to do that. This was Ava’s memory, not mine. I have my own to refer to. I just hope her memory of the circus will be as fond as my memories are.

Four Months!
Today was Amari’s 4-month check up. She cam in at a whopping 17lbs 10oz (that is the 99 percentile for those of you keeping score) and she was 24 ½ inches long. She still needs to be on the Nutramigen formula (at 25 bucks for the small can!) BUT we were told she could start fruits and veggies now and later rice cereal. We wasted no time starting her on squash. Yummers! She did pretty well all things considered! In 3 more days we will try pears. Golly I can hardly wait! Oh by the way Ava is 3 feet 6 inches tall without the Afro puffs.

Jeryn's Birthday!
