We hope to do a quick get away for Ava’s birthday in March so I thought I would get the girls swim suits now so I would have the best selection. Ok maybe I’m just praying for warmer weather, I can’t handle this cold crap anymore! Anyway we had to squeeze our 3-month-old into a 6-12 month size bikini and Ava looks annoyed is this photo because we aren’t actually doing any swimming yet. Oh well.

Queen Pin

Monday was, as you know Martin Luther King Day just one of the many holidays Donnie gets from work. We planned to do a fun family activity. Ava wanted to show daddy her bowling skills so we thought we would try the new Thunder Alley in Elkhorn (Omaha). I mentioned this to a few friends and before we knew it we had a group of about 20. Once again Ava bowled better than I did (See previous June blog posts). The food was good but service was VERY slow. I don’t know if we would have to go back to Thunder Alley but we would love to bowl anytime. I think everyone had a blast!

Believe it or not Amari seems to love the camera a little more than Ava does. I think Ava would rather shoot than be shot. (wouldn't we all?) I will have to post some of Ava's photos sometime. These are all we got yesterday. I tried.

12 weeks old!

Yesterday we had a short photo shoot. Amari did great but Ava wanted nothing to do with it so no new photos of Ava! Oh well maybe next time.

Sleep baby sleep!

Miss Mar is still sleeping well through the night (most nights). When she sleeps like this I just sit and watch her breathe. What a sweet pea!

New Sweater

This is just one of Amari's many new sweaters. She is not too sure about the hat. We like it! Thanks Aunt Jane.

Ava really likes helping give Amari her bath. Amari doesn't look too sure about it.

New pictures

Almost daily I try to take photos of the girls. I'm much better at photographing other peoples kids I think. If anyone would like to photograph my kids let me know (ahem Angela!). Maybe you can get that great shot!
