On another birthday note… Miss Mar’s first birthday is next month. We will of course have a SMALL party for her to celebrate but I can not seem to come up with a theme. Miss Nay’s first birthday was a springy theme with Gerber daisies and all things pink. I don’t know what to do for Miss Mar. She loves the cats and eating things she finds on the floor. She also finds great pleasure in biting my lower lip (or cheek) and laughing out loud at me when I tell her no. You can see I don’t have a lot to go on here. Oh she has recently discovered the musical stylings of the Jonas Brothers. I think it’s the hair? So give me your suggestions. What should the theme of Mar’s party be?

a 60's-70's theme complete with afro's! So that later on when she see's all these photo's she will know she was cool! and didn't have wild hair! tie dye optional. serve everything on the floor hippie style! i'll bring the incense!
Since you already live in a zoo, and Mari loooves the animals, why don't you have a zoo theme. Giraffes, elephants, lions, etc...
That would be cute! We can all show up in our best leopard prints too!
