This year for mother’s day I did not have to work (first time ever!) I did however have to work the evening before. I came home at 12:30am to find a HOMEMADE lemon cake with icing and a beautiful topiary sitting on the dining room table. Oh and Donnie was hiding in the kitchen with a large knife just waiting to cut the cake, I don’t recommend anyone hiding in my kitchen with a knife. Anyway it was a GOOD cake. I was most impressed. The topiary is really cool tool fingers crossed I won’t kill it.

You are too lucky! (and blessed!) my husband would stab me with the knife and eat the cake afterwards. THAT'S why I'm not married!
I'm having knife issues since the double. was not smart on his part. the cake did make up for it!
